I assure you there was no connection in my mind between this video and the comment by aK on the longboard post when I started out editing. However… wouldn’t it be super nice if Boardeli donated one of their boards so these guys could learn what a proper ride is? Afterall, the board they’re playing with is 17 years old. That’s what I’d call wishful thinking… ;)

Music by OPM – Heaven is a Half Pipe from their debut album straight out of 2000 – Menace to Sobriety.

After the tattoing (no. 063 thru 070 in the country, Dina was 027) and first CV shots yesterday we were left smothered in green. Everything was green, but I’m affraid it was not because of any extra benjamins. Rather the green color used in the tattoing process which the sprogs managed to get all over themselves and everything else withing reach. And the damn thing doesn’t come off easily.

Music in the video is Dr. Greenthumb by Cypress Hill. I’m taking you back to 1998 and their fourth album appropriately named IV. Although my favorite song from that album (and indeed my fav by the CH) is definitely Tequila Sunrise. You gotta love the trumpets and the guitar rhythm in the background.

I’ve had this music in my head ever since I stumbled on a blog post listing 100 best movie opening sequences… but I’ll be damned if I can find it now.

Anyway… The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (or Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo) directed by Sergio Leone has a kickass animated opening sequence scored by one of the great composers Ennio Morricone. The duo worked together on many occasions but the main theme for this particular movie stands out head and shoulders above all other movie themes as far as I’m concerned. Colonel Bogey March made famous in Bridge on the River Kwai maybe, just maybe comes close but it wasn’t an original for the movie.

The usual cast, playing their roles of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…
