Accessibility by law

Found this link to what appears to be the Dutch web accessibility law 
I understand parts of it but I’d still rather forward you to highlights that can be found on 456 Berea Street and Quirksmode.

I’ll just post some of them… government agencies are required by law to:

  • use strict doctype
  • separate content from presentation
  • use semantic id/class atributes
  • use of forms or scripts as the only means of getting certain information is prohibited
  • script-only links must be generated by JavaScript
  • use of certain html elements is defined specificaly

Now… how do we go about achieving the same or better?
