EKG, second night

EKG second night

Went back yesterday for the second show to shoot from a different angle and catch some scenes I missed the night before. I’ve added them to the EKG album.

EnKnapGroup – praznovanje

Formation of the only professional modern dance group in this country back in May resulted in its formal birthday at yesterdays opening night.

EnKnapGroup

The quintuplet of Ilkem Ulugün, Tomáš Nepšinský, Ana Štefanec, Luke Dunne & Katja Legin emerged from a selection of over 200 dancers. Since then they’ve been working on a premiere at Stara Elektrarna led by choreographers Iztok Kovač, Sašo Podgoršek & Andreja Rauch.

It’s always fun to be backstage on opening nights since everyone is running around trying to add just that final little touch. Usually it’s something only they notice. Nerves running wild and flying high on adrenaline…

As usual, more photos to be found in the gallery.

Sigur Ros – Heima (& Iceland diving)

This video has been making the rounds in the past few days:

Superbly shot, excellent locations and some very fine music. And since youtube hardly does this video justice – here’s the original trailer.

I’ve watched it a few times already and every single time I get the urge to pack up and go to Iceland. And just so you know… Iceland is just as amazing underwater. Silfra…a crack in the earth’s crust where european and american tectonic plates meet and visibility is quite literally limitless… probably the most spectatular dive site on the planet.

NDR Silfra report on YouTube:

you can also freedive there…

I must warn you though…it is cold… ;)
