How flashmobs came to be

An interview with the guy who invented flashmobs.

I imagine there are still a few people around that have never heard of a flashmob and have absolutely no idea what they are.
The idea behind the phenomenon is pretty simple, it is

an event where a large group of people, having received instructions in advance, converge upon a place, do something odd there, and leave peaceably within minutes

One event was a flash mob converging into Macy’s rug department, all looking for a “love rug”.
Another one involved people stripping down in the middle of the street at rush hour.

Stuff like that… anything that manages to confuse other people

Out of it grew variations like url:www.flickr.com/photos/63511593@n00/sets/19017/]pillowfight clubs[/url] and  mobile clubbing and basically anything that involves semi organised fun.

How to answer the phone

 answering the phone

“You’ll have to speak up; I’m wearing a towel.”
“Road Kill Cafe. You kill ’em, we grill ’em!” (or “You cream ’em, we steam ’em!)”
“Mike’s Abortion Clinic,
You Lay ’em,
We Slay ’em
No Fetus can beat us…..”
“Jim’s gun shop. Shoot.”
