’tis the season for Malvazjia

Aa usual this time of year, the destination for the weekend was Bertoki (Bertocchi), picking grapes of  Malvazija variety (known elsewhere as Malvasia)

Here’s some more info on the end product –
the wine if that’s what you’re really interested in.

I didn’t really bother taking any proper photos of the whole process but here’s a little tiny bit anyway.

Organization is the key

A series of post on becoming a more organized person (by the guy who wrote the  “How to e-mail a professor” I mentioned earlier and many other useful things).

 1. introduction

 2. consider a datebook

 3. use a small notebook

 4. use a Palm

 5. Post-It notes

How to e-mail a professor

Here’s the full post from a professor who obviously get’s a lot of annoying emails.

– Choose an appropriate greeting
– Avoid rote apologies for missing class
– Proofread what you’ve written
– Sign with your full name, course number, and meeting time
– Don’t send unexpected attachments
– When you get a reply, say thanks

Have to say I’m not sure I follow every one of his suggestions.
