WordPress 2.5 misbehavin’
Comments(0) It certainly is one big update this one… I guess the new admin interface will prove to be an improvement but it has caused me some anxious minutes. The moment I tried to log in I notice things aren’t quite how they’re supposed to be. Admin panel was totally unresponsive taking several minutes to load anything. Google search didn’t uncover any similar issues so I was on my own to figure it out. At one point I seriously considered switching back. In those frustrating minutes I even managed to delete a couple of posts. Managed to recover one from the feed that hasn’t updated yet…
Deactivating several plugins turned out to be the solution but the curious thing is that after I activated them all back it was still working just fine. I don’t know which one might have caused it by I suspect it was DoFollow. Nothing certain though.
Anyway, the site works fine now and I’m getting used to the new look. Sometime in the near future I’ll overhaul the front end as well. The new design is currently in prototype stage so there might be some weird things happening as I begin to test the new theme.
