Cooling down in summer heat

Comments(0) If you’re like me and can’t stand the heat then I suppose you already know this little trick… pick a nice, cool (some might say cold) river and go for a swim.
Judging by current water temperatures (by ARSO) your best bet in Slovenia is a choice of the following three:
Kamniška Bistrica @ very comfy 8.3°C (about 46°F), should be around 5°C at the source
Soča @ very elegant 9.6°C (49°F), around 7-8°C at the source
Idrijca @ bordering on tepid 10.2°C (50°F)
Of course there are many other nice (hopefuly secret) places to go for a quick cooling dip but these three actually have a enough water for a proper swim.
