Snowkiting on Deosai Plateau, Himalayas

Windzin Team posted another great story about  Pakistan Freeride Team and snow kiting on Deosai Plateau in the Himalayas.

Being in one of the most remote spots on earth, nobody expected to see five people walking down towards our camp, but army guys from a nearby high altitude base had spotted our strange activities and came to investigate, later followed by the arrival of two army helicopters who were under the impression that we had parachuted in.
A 15kmh crosswind had the pair of them on Frenzy 12m’s, cruising through 10cm of virgin powder, leaving their strange signature on the mountains as they rode up ridges, through valley bottoms, and after only 15 or 20 minutes, up onto the crest of a rounded summit. Half an hour playing up there before packing up the kites and skiing and snowboarding back down, eager to tell us tales of even higher peaks with perfect slopes we could summit.
