I’ve had this music in my head ever since I stumbled on a blog post listing 100 best movie opening sequences… but I’ll be damned if I can find it now.

Anyway… The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (or Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo) directed by Sergio Leone has a kickass animated opening sequence scored by one of the great composers Ennio Morricone. The duo worked together on many occasions but the main theme for this particular movie stands out head and shoulders above all other movie themes as far as I’m concerned. Colonel Bogey March made famous in Bridge on the River Kwai maybe, just maybe comes close but it wasn’t an original for the movie.

The usual cast, playing their roles of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…

The FStop is an online magazine featuring advertising, editorial and fine art photographers. Each issue deconstructs the image making process of 4 photographers and gives you a quick interview.

I wrote about online photo mags previously but maybe it’s time to mention a few of them again:

  1. FILE magazine
  2. WebPhotoMag
  3. Photoblogs Magazine
  4. PBase Magazine
  5. Rangefinder
  6. NikonPro
  7. Canon CPN
  8. UnderWater Photomag

After some vacation I’m (we’re) back with another short video. WordPress autopilot obviously guided you well through the two weeks I was gone. This one was shot yesterday through breakfast, lunch, dinner & desserts and I just finished editing (any complaining over continuity issues is strongly forbidden) ;)
Windows movie maker only crashed once this time, thank you kind people in Redmond for providing the autosave function. Now make sure it doesn’t crash at all… I’m seeing a crash pattern while editing titles.

Always Coca Co…… ahem… Always dooog fooood

Music by the mighty Reel Big Fish doing a ska(ish) cover of Hungry Like the Wolf, a hit by Duran Duran recorded in the early 80’s. Yeah, I know it’s about a different kind of hunger ;)
