Daytrippin on the windswept ridge of Volovja reber with Anja and 3 dogs on a beautiful saturday morning.

And just to be clear… all efforts to erect a windfarm up there are a serious blow to the natural beauty of the place with no environmental (or any other) upside. Sadly it’s all about the money, certainly not about green energy or whatever they’re trying to sell us on.
Petition on Mladina website is spot on… all activity up there is nothing but blatant destruction of pristine natural environment wrapped in “environmentaly friendly” packaging.

btw I’m not against wind farms. But rather than following the ironic and moronic practice of destroying enviroment to save the environment I’m more in favor of intergrating turbines into new & existing infrastructure that’s already there. Examples? How about Bahrain World Trade Center? Or the Pearl River Tower in Guangzhou, China?

All alone

The kids are gone now… It’s been a week since Heidi left Hanibal to fend for himself.

At least the party ain’t over for three of them… Hanibal, Homer and Hina will have a chance to wreak havoc in pre-school every tuesday @ KD Krim. Unfortunately it’s unlikely I’ll get a chance to see them in person but I hope there’ll be some photos I can post here.

And now that I’ve mentioned photos… it’s overwhelming how much they’ve changed in just 4 months.

day 1
I still can’t believe how small they were back then

Onwards and upwards… it’s a brand new day.

ALA web design results

Go here for the results of a survey answered by close to 33000 web professionals. The survey (and the results) are clearly US centric but I think it’s still relevant to anyone in the field.
