Update your feeds, I’ve moved!

Since mcomm is acting weird lately and has been pretty much decommisioned we’ve relocated to McNet/Magnet. The move was scheduled to happen sooner or later, the problems with mcomm simply accelerated the process. I kindly ask you to update your feeds/bookmarks.

Aill Na Searrach , Irelands perfect wave

And then the wind died… a documentary about surfing one of the few, perfect big waves. In Ireland of all places.

This really was a historic moment. There aren’t that many (known) big waves out there. Peahi, Mavericks,Teahupoo, Belharra… and now Aill Na Searrach, otherwise known as Aileen, underneat the cliffs of Moher.

I remember hiking on the edge of the cliffs three years ago, looking down at the water far below for a couple of hours and I never imagined how big those waves could get.
