Dakar 2006… C’est parti!

Another year, another Dakar. Every night at 22:30 on Eurosport for those of us unfurtunate enough to only see it on TV.

Another year of sights like this and this (gotta love that one!) or this nice piece of nature art.

Since Google doesn’t quite cover Africa with their maps (or Europe, Asia and everywhere else other than US/Canada) I found this collection of various maps of the area so you don’t get lost. It works quite well with satellite/hybrid view on google.

And of course there’s the official website – dakar.com

Typographica – best fonts of 2005

Oh well, what can I do? It’s a season of best of… (insert whatever you wish) lists and people at Typographica are no different.

Not that I mind in this case. They’ve got some great fonts in there.
