Best web 2.0 software of ’05

 Dion Hinchcliffe combiled a list of web based software (I really don’t like the term web 2.0) that stood out from the crowd in 2005. It’s a useful list if nothing else.

50 milliseconds starts now

Apparently it takes an average person just 50 milliseconds to judge the design of a website. At least that’s what some researchers at the Carleton University in Ottawa say. (  via ProBlogger )

“Visual appeal can be assessed within 50 milliseconds, suggesting that web designers have about 50 milliseconds to make a good impression,”

So make sure you do it right!
