…like they do on the Discovery Channel

Random visitors to this blog might be surprised to see photos of dogs doing it in the sidebar but just bear with me for a moment…

Dina & Klemens

Dina, Janez & Janja returned home from rather long drive to Petershof a few days ago where Dina met Klemens for the second time (their brief introduction was in Tulln at Eurodog show 2005).

I wasn’t there, unfortunately I had to be in Maribor, but for some reason I keep imagining the scene of their reunion with Urge Overkill – Girl, You’ll be a woman soon playing as the soundtrack ;)
After a long and hard battle where Klemens proved himself to be a worthy adversary of great patience and stamina (she definitely ain’t easy), she actually became a proper woman. (And no, I will not post the video) ;)

Now let’s just hope that we see some new furry monsters in two months or so…

Some more photos are in the gallery (taken by Janja Lebar).

From this quick dog porn excursion we now return to our regular scheduled programming… ;)

ŠOUROCK 07, round 4

ŠOUROCK is one of those competitions for the best new rock group where you inevitably bump into some awesome talent and some… well, not so great talent.

All of them can play, mind you. However, not all of them can perform. And in my mind that’s the larger part of making a lasting impression on the audience (and I’m guessing the jury as well). People go to a live performance to enjoy themselves. I go there to take interesting photos and if all the band members stand there like statues without a hint of emotion or any visible effort it makes my job a bit tough. To be honest I usually stop taking photos altogether in such situations. It just isn’t worth it.

But on the other hand you have the bands that get the audience excited. Bands that turn the heat up and leave the ladies screaming. That’s when I enjoy taking photos. I might produce total crap because I’m enjoying myself too much but I just don’t care ;)
