PDN Top Knots 2005
This summer I’ve definitely seen my share of wedding photos for the next few years and to add to the experience, one of my colleagues got married yesterday.
To continue with the theme I found this wedding photography contest – PDN Top Knots 2005. The winning images are all pretty decent and done the way I like it. It’s all about the “new” school of wedding photojournalism rather than the boring formal posed shots most wedding photographers still insist on doing.
Learn from the best – Dennis Reggie,
The Becker,
Joe Buissink,
Evrim Icoz etc. and stop with the b.s. you call wedding photography.
I’m surprised people pay money for such crap. Obviously any fool with a camera can be a wedding photographer…
Me? I wouldn’t mind giving it a shot as a part time gig but to start off I don’t think I’d like dropping into the deep end of the pool. I have no doubt I’d enjoy this stuff and it pays relatively well but I’d preffer to take it slow and easy in the beginning and act as a backup.
